Our events

Our 2026 theme is I AM A VOICE RISING!

Every program is designed to help each little woman find her voice.

We offer various events throughout the year, both online and in-person. Click on an event type below to learn more.

  • Our annual virtual conference is held in March to highlight Women’s History Month and kicks off our calendar of events each year.

Little women gather online to learn about the impact of women’s history through our iconic virtual museum. A guest speaker and woman of influence, leads our little women in an artful, engaging presentation, discussion and hands-on activity.

Our virtual coaches lead deeper discussions within the breakout sessions. A digital badge and prize are earned for participation.

  • The 4-part series is designed to unlock confidence in little women from the inside out. Each session is facilitated online by an LWS virtual coach.

We use a social emotional learning (SEL) based model encompassing nutrition and physical fitness; emotional wellness; spiritual health; and social awareness to produce the desired outcome of the 3 C’s of clarity, confidence and communication. A healthy self-concept is an important aspect of honing voice and clear, confident, communication.

Digital badges and prizes are earned with each session attended.

  • Our newest spin on “paint and sip” except we’re enjoying painting and ice cream! These in-person events welcome little women and their families to gather, meet one another, enjoy ice cream treats and engage in a fun art activity.

It’s the perfect opportunity for our current members to interact and for new families to learn more about our mission.

  • During the 6-week speaker academy experience, little women learn the art of public speaking through virtual and in-person practice.

The culmination of the academy is an in-person showcase where little women deliver their prepared presentations.

The showcase is also our hallmark fundraising event in support of our mission.

“The sessions were amazing. It was really great getting to know the panelists and I was able to gain more confidence in my writing through these events.”

4th Annual Brunch N’ Learn: I am Brave Even When I’m Scared.

March marks the month we kick off our programming with a series of virtual events over the upcoming weeks starting with the annual Brunch N’ Learn event. LWS! virtual coaches will be exploring the 2024 theme: "I Am Brave, Even When I'm Scared". It's an opportunity for little women to really discover how to accomplish their personal goals even in the face of fear. It's a common struggle for every human and we're here to arm little women with tools to combat those thoughts and feelings.

  • I love the concept of the event and the sincerity of the presenters. It was clear they were invested in the event and most importantly the young ladies.

Saana Polk, Parent of a Little Woman

  • Little Women has opened up my eyes to see that there is positive change happening in the youth today. Being able to share my story with young girls reminded me the importance of mentorship. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to be poured into, and I know that God’s plan for us includes being intentional with those around us. Little Women Speak Inc. has been that opportunity for girls to easily access a mentors and be invested in through a fun and engaging medium. They are inspiring our future leaders day by day through encouragement and joy!

KK KendaNaing, guest speaker March, 2023 event

  • This was such a great and empowering presentation. All the speakers were clear, motivational, and super encouraging. My daughter asked when the next event would be!

    Mom of a Little Woman

  • I enjoyed the flow and engaging content and speakers. The young ladies were very engaged and the interaction with them was on point.

    Parent of a Little Woman

  • It is a blessing to see how this program is not only encouraging my daughters but encouraging me. I have to say I enjoyed this much more than I did Girl Scouts.

    Parent of Little Women

  • The fact that we as black women can come together to uplift our younger generation is extraordinary. From the advice, to the encouraging words of wisdom...me and my daughters enjoyed ourselves.
